ISI 2006 Third International Symposium on Isotopomers

La Jolla, California USA

27 - 31 August 2006

Housing has been reserved at the Eleanor Roosevelt College located on the UCSD campus for those wishing to take advantage of lower room rental rates and the convenience of on-campus accommodations.  We have reserved a number of apartments in Geneva Hall to accommodate three persons in each at $95 USD per person/per day.  This rate includes three meals per person per day at the Café Ventanas.  You may request a box lunch on the days you will be away from the campus.  If you do plan to use campus housing, you must notify the organizing committee by 15 August 2006 via email to You may wish to check out this site if you want to learn more about UCSD housing and dining services:  For directions and maps to campus housing and the housing registration desk, please visit:  The housing registration desk is open from 7:30 a.m. until 12:00 midnight.  If you arrive after midnight, a telephone number will be posted at the desk which is the contact number for the on-call attendant.

If you prefer a more private accommodation, a block of rooms has been reserved at one of La Jolla’s newest and nicest hotels. The Estancia La Jolla Hotel and Spa is located across the street from the campus, a five to ten minute walk from the conference venue.  As a conference attendee, you will be entitled to the UCSD rate which is $209 USD per day.  Be sure to ask for the UCSD rate when you make your hotel reservations.

Another hotel that is just minutes from campus and used frequently by UCSD visitors is the Marriott Residence Inn San Diego, La Jolla.  The UCSD rate for rooms there is $149 USD per day.  However, if you stay five nights or more, the UCSD rate is $119 USD.  To get this rate, type in the Corporate/Promotional box the code UC0 (the last digit is a zero).

There are, of course, many other hotel options in the La Jolla area.  If you wish to learn more about them, please email, noting specifically what you are looking for.
